Today was a historic day for snowboarding as Burton team rider Shaun White sealed his fate on the Olympic Team, joining teammate Kelly Clark in Vancouver. Burton’s Hannah Teter moved one step closer with her second podium this week! Tune into NBC tomorrow at 1:30pm (EST) to see the action.
Next stop Park City, where the rest of the 2010 US Olympic Snowboard team will be announced January 23rd!

Im a little surprised that Shaun is competing in the X Games, with the Olympics just a few weeks away. I think the injury potential far outweighs the reward.
