Burton Coverage in Complex

The February/March issue of Complex has Burton all over it! The coverage includes two full page spreads on two different Burton riders and the inclusion of the US Open in the ‘Complex Dozen,’ a calendar that highlights the top twelve events taking place in February and March.

Both Danny and Trevor have full page feature pieces in this issue! The separate stories show the diversity of Burton’s team riders and how they are looked at not only as influencers in the snowboarding world, but in fashion and music as well. While in town for the NYC World Tour stop, we hooked Danny up with Complex editor Joe La Puma where he chatted about how he started snowboarding, competing in the USO and his sights on the 2010 Olympics. The interview resulted in an excellent piece that gives a great sense of Danny’s personality and his outlook on life. The feature also includes a great shot of Danny with his Un…Inc board.

In Trevor’s piece, he talks about his unique personal style and his role in helping design signature pieces such as his Burton board in the ‘Style Breakdown’ story. Both his Analog jeans and Gravis shoes are clearly featured in the photo and discussed. Trevor also calls out Greg D and how Greg works with all of the Burton riders to create sick pieces that represent everyone’s individuality. Complex has a circulation of 335,000.
